OTHER CLUB NEWS
Whoopee! Approximately 138 people attended the February meeting.
Club treasurer John Congdon reports that 187 people have paid their dues for 2013.
Let’s continue to encourage our neighbors, friends, and new acquaintances to join our club and
attend our meetings. The bigger we are – the stronger we will be for the Republican Party. THE EDITOR
This newsletter is shorter than usual and was written by Robert Fears because of a fall by our editor, Everett Schmidt. As most of you know, Everett fell in his bathroom a couple of weeks ago and laid there for three days. When he didn’t keep an appointment with Linda McDaniel to do his income tax return, she became concerned. Everett never misses an appointment, so Linda knew something was wrong. She called West Short, who has a key to Everett’s house. It was West who found Everett on the floor and called 911.
Although Everett doesn’t remember falling, doctors have been unable to find anything that is medically wrong. At the writing of this newsletter Everett is in rehab at St. David’s Hospital in Georgetown. By the time you receive this newsletter, Everett will hopefully be back home.
Please keep Everett in your prayers. We all wish him a speedy recovery.
